Looks pennish enough to count. What is it?
I'll need to look back through my stuff and post a pic of the pens I still have at this point.
Is there any companies still making nice pens still? Sounds like laserbtb is done with them. Too bad as there were a couple I wanted to get still. They originally sold ones that had some decent output and slowly dropped the stronger ones. Almost every pen I bought from them could put out way more than rated especially as they were very voltage dependant. Output would dramatically increase as you went from 2 alkaline to lithium to single rechargeable lithium 4.2V with spacer. Never blew a diode so they could be pushed pretty hard.

That's because the driver wasn't a constant current driver, but a voltage regulator. I've run into it a lot with cheap Chinese drivers. I have bought several only to find they change current with every setting on a dummy load.

You can still get the old btb pens from skylasers. They're more expensive there than I remember BTB having, but they have them

Took a couple of pics of my Radio shack lx1000 but have to figure out how to post them from imageshack again since I haven't done it in so long.
Story behind it is the one on the left I've had forever from my dad but it stopped working. A few months ago I was helping him go through some stuff and came across a good condition one that still works:)

Old non-working on left.

Haven't measured it but I'm pretty positive it's under 5mW.

The big deal about those.lasers is how old they are and still kicking (well at least one). I should grab a shot of the pens I still have....

What I would consider my nicer pens although I have a bunch of others that probably should be in with these. Think I need to go back and look in my other cases.

The cat pic hasn't been tweeked. His eyes really reflected that much.

Here's most of the rest. Same pic as a couple posts down. Some of these should be in the other case.

I just found most of the rest of them and some deserve to be in the other case. I say most as there is likely another1 10 or so around the house.

Thanks for the offer. I have cases and in fact have extras from when I sold so many duplicate lasers I had awhile back.
