i have the Thor H 2 laser. it's a big one, using 2 pieces 26650 batteries. the host has led holes to show the rest of battery. 3 lighting modes, strong, weak and sos. can make into 1w 520nm, 450nm 1.5w, 3w, and 5w.

Haven't been officially launched yet, put some pictures here firstly:

It's a nice looking host, some more details are needed before we can say if it's a good purchase or not. Price would be good to know!

we haven't confirm the price yet. just get a sample, i think the advantage is using 2 26650 batteries. i know jet laser use that kind, this one is smaller than jet laser. we need to test it before release.

Certainly helps with power delivery and battery life!

May be worth offering someone a review sample once they are available, not necessarily for free but for a reduced price. If the price is right and the quality is good then I'm sure they'll do well.

What is "does this look good ?" supposed to mean in this case?
It is not like you are coming up with anyting that is unique, novel, or in anyway an original product design---it looks like just another bogus/fake larger WL host as used in the Krypton and higher power Arctics copy down to the number of ribs on the head of the host but with a really ugly looking large size inappropriate appearing glaring bright plated pushbutton.

Is not possible to say much more without handling an actual unit other than to say please lose that ugly buttom--a black plated version of the same wide bezel too large would look better---a smaller bezel black plated push button would be even better.

OK 26605 battey compatibility is an OK feature --then it can also use 18650 with spacer sleeves as well.

I agree with you on the button.

Well then... disregarding the likeness of it looking like an Arctic, I think it looks pretty good. Plus you'll get a lot of sales from beginning hobbyists that all "want that WL feel" :/ The 26650 is a great idea, and like Encap said, you can supply sleeves as well so folks can use their 18650s. :) Goodluck with everything, Tommy!

If we are only judging looks, i think it looks good! However, i would like to know the rest of the technical details!

If this is the launch of a new product, I think it is premature. You haven't given enough details about this pointer to make any conclusion about it except, "Hey, look at our cool new host". I would try this again later when you have more to offer than you have here.

I would be interested in the unit as a host, if it were easy to insert diodes into.

that's a good idea, and is exactly what i want to do. you can't judge just from the host.

i'm not sure if anyone have interest to review this product, the product is free, just pay shipping fee $20, only for usa, because we will ship with batteries. other countries have a limited on the batteries shipping.

i'll provide 1 piece of 1.5w version. pm me if you have great interest, and objective views on lasers. thanks.

I think it's a nice host. I don't mind the button. Is it momentary or latching? What's going on with the battery cap? Safety features? Where is the focus mechanism? Are the threaded host pieces glued together? We can't talk it up without some details.
Oh btw I received the 200mw 532 it meters around 230mw. The pens work fine as well. I appreciate your company working out the one issue I had. No BS and fair. That goes a long way.

Side note JL has the mini pro 1w 520 for $270. I think your going to have to beat that by a good margin due to their established quality and reputation.
