Here's the first of the build photos (it's going to be small!):

Wow! How much did that custom milling cost if you don't mind me asking?

It was really really costly (like, lock me away kind of insane costly) amount. All said and done, it was more than I've spent on anything else in the laser hobby, so I hope it works. I had to save up for this project.

I had a couple extras made to try and get the per unit cost down, but it was still stupidly expensive per body. It's not just the body either, there are also 3x adjustable dichro mounts per body that each have three parts, and then the body has a two-part "lid" as well as a side panel. All CNC'd.

So what is it?

Its an alligator. What the sh!+ do you think it is?!

Looks amazing. I fail to see the exit aperture- is it just due to reflections, or has it not been made yet? Also, how the crap are you going to fit batteries+circuitry+buttons in there? Unless you get shorter adjustment screws for the mounts, and put some of it along that side?

It's there, just hard to see.

I can make tiny drivers, that run on tiny lipos. Compared to the original single diode photinos, this is lots of space to work with.

Is that going to have a see through lid?

That's a really good idea. Can 3D printers print transparent?

There probably is a 3d printer colorless plastic but I don't thank it will be a clear see through like you would want.
