If it's a jar, couldn't the jar itself be open or closed ? I better check the expiration date. The good thing is by the thread being closed, it will have a longer shelf life.

Avery is obviously running the forum on a quantum computer and this thread exist in both known states simultaneously due to quantum superposition.

I think the OP was to hasty to try and close this and broke the door jam. Now it has been left ajar so now we have ajar of broken jam!
 
I think the OP definitly CLOSED the door and locked it, BUT Left the window open:banghead: so here we are all poking our heads through the window Posting!
 
I think the confusion arises from the thread existing in multiple parallel dimensions simultaneously at different frequencies. The frequency tuned in is dependent on the open, closed or ajar state of the frequency being transmitted in multiple dimensions.

Just because you see it, doesn't mean it's there. Likewise, just because you don't see it, doesn't mean it's not there.
