I ordered minidrone + spare propellers + spare battery almost 1 month ago. The delivery delayed 10 days, then was broken in two parts, since props were out of stock. I hope to find in the package decent infos to calibrate the drone for the first fly.

Walkera QR X350 PRO FPV G-2D Gimbal 5.8Ghz iLook Camera Devo F7 Quadcopter Drone | eBay

This is a very nice auction. This drone has everything You need. And the price is fantastic. I'm thinking to buy one of them ...

Fantastic price? It´s >$1000
A member posted this link some time ago. What are the differences between the one you linked for $900 + $250 shipping (to Austria) and the one from the other link for for $595 + shipping (Aerial Video/Photo Package) ?

I would only fly such a device if I´m a total PRO with drones <$100

But this thread is more about the mini-quadcopter and other cheap mini alternatives.

Hi.
Perhaps I'm from Italy, and I see the auction a little bit different than You.
I read $899,99 in pre-order. Thus, I live in Italy, so I will pay in euros, about 648, that is a big advantage for me.

This is a drone totally different from the Pocket Drone: it has four props, professional tramitter wih LCD monitor, gimbal, and so on.
As You know, You can find on the market drones starting from few dollars to thousand dollars.
Compare the Walkera with the Pocket Drone is the same thing to compare Pocket Drone with small quadcopter ;)

Read a bit more about it. Definitely something you want to have to play around with :)

Are you going to buy it? If so, you´re welcome to give us a show-off then

Mine came today and it is fast into a wall  I did manage some left and right maneuvers hovering just off
the ground but getting it into the air right now is outa the question it's too fast for my old responses and there
really isn't much said about it in the instructions, and the charge doesn't last long, it needs a bigger cell.

Mike here's a picture so you can see how the blades are supposed to be>

@ Sigurthr Thanks for the tips ;)

I got the blade issue figured out but, like

I think 80% of the issues you guys are having is lack of experience flying these :)
Someone upload a flight video!

I have the 40% flashing on the transmitter -
I believe that should limit my input.
I have heard that I need to "calibrate the gyro"
but I don't know how. I hold it level when I turn
it on but I can't get it to hover - even with trim.

What kind of transmitter did these come with? I would turn the copter on, place it on a level surface, then turn on the transmitter. Should capture the attitude. Bit Sure I'd These Calibrate Like The Hub San But Just In Case. With the throttle at minimum and yaw full right. Move the aileron (right stick left to right) back and forth a few times. How much is it drifting? Being so small any wind Draft can move it. They also aren't perfect. When I trim mine out I still get about 1/8 foot per second drift.

It is a V272 kit. The transmitter has no identification.
The book is poorly written but I did figure out the
calibration procedure. Maybe it helped a bit.....
With the throttle at minimum, there is no drift because it
isn't flying.

This is what you do with it on and transmitter on. It may calibrate your gyros to your level surface and allow a better hover.

Just tried it with mine and it works (protox and not the knock off discussed in this thread) but it should be the same. The LEDs will flash when the calibration is excepted. I can post a video if needed.

i think it will calibrate every power on..so no need for forced calib....and it must stand on a surface without moving..holding it in level will go wrong..after connecting when leds blinking after 4..5 seconds trottle must pushed full forwards then its beep and backwards and then it will fly

the looping button: its the right button on the front..when hovering (1m..) press it and followed by movement in any direction it will flip in this direction

sppedy78 said it...practise..first when standing behind (with back showing to you)...when front shows to you all steering commands are mirrored..so you brain have to learn first hovering from behind..even with gyros its like balancing a ball on a ball
