6W Triple diode laser

Dichro is aligned and mounted. Picture coming later.

I have to adjust the blue mirror alignment, it's a little bit off and hardly noticeable but I want to get the perfect alignment.

Next step is to build a piece so you can rotate and tilt all these optics with set screws.

Might be able to make that with my 3D printer out of plastic, I have a lathe, but no mill to make tiny mounts :p

you need more movement in the modules to get it to work. I am having some module made will have them for sale soon ,they use 3 springs to help you align the modules.
l will have video up soon

I like to align the optics rather than the modules - the modules make better thermal contact if they are held down firmly.

This is exciting! You're a pioneer and we're all eager to learn from your methods so we can attempt this ourselves someday. I'm really looking forward to seeing the final product. Thanks for sharing the play-by-play.

Wow this laser is almost complete. Been waiting for this for a while. Really an amazing build and one of the best on here

So all that's really left to do with the laser now is align the mits diode?

Almost done the alignment on the red, hope to have this running for some beamshots tonight.
