in general no news are good news but in this case not ... I hope CNI did not think about sending 7, 8 and 9 together :confused:

Waiting start to be very long for the 7, I know Glenn you do all the best, CNI could make their process a little bit faster :thinking: anyway we already waiting 3 months for the 7, one month more or less will not really change

heh, lucky me waited till last month to submit my #7 order so ive not been waiting as long as others:na:, but still the anticipation is killing me.... I want my blue....
CNI generally ships the GB's seperately, 7 is even seperate from 8 if im not mistaken.... hope they get hear soon:D

Glenn had to go out of town for an emergency. He thought he would have internet access via his phone. He was wrong. He called me yesterday. It will be a few days before he gets back.

If he is delayed any significant time, I'm sure he will call me again.

Well that sucks, sorry to hear that this has happened. Much more important than our lasers, let's all hope that everything is alright for Glenn and pray it's nothing too serious! :cryyy: Thanks for letting us know Dave.

That sucks.... Hope all is well and Glenn can come back soon, the package probably didnt arrive yet anyway but when it does, and no one is there to sign for it....... hope they dont send it back to china:(

This is a possibility, kingdave --- but there's really not much anyone can do about it at this point. If Glenn has to do what he has to do, that's just how the ball rolls at this point.

If it's any assurance though, for international packages I believe the situation is more than the "3 tries, 3 days, then send back" routine. I believe they hold them locally for 30 days. Not positive, but I recall this being the case with most couriers.

This has to be chalked up to "sh*t happens" -- and sometimes it's rough. We just have to wait and see what he says the story is when he comes back.

I'm afraid it was a real serious problem. Glenn lost his brother, very sorry to hear it Glenn. Best wishes all!

Glenn, my ol' friend, my deepest condolences to you & your family on the loss of such a close family member. On MARCH 29th, last year, I lost my DAD so I know what heart-ache you're going through.
As far as my opinion on the lasers goes, (I know we all want them) but you take care of your family issues 1st. FAMILY should ALWAYS come 1st. I'm sure that most of the folks on LPF feel the same way I do.

Lasers are cool, very cool but we should never forget to appreciate the true values in our lives.

AFAIK CNI sends their lasers via FedEx. I´ve never waited more than a week for a Chinese package shipped by FedEx to Austria.

Wow, so sorry to hear that, must be tough.... I agree the lasers should be put on the back burner at this point, I would do the same thing myself........
BUT is there any chance that if they get sent back as undelivered, maybee it would raise some curiosity among customs and well........ but thats worst case senario, which seems to always come up with me(pessimistic I guess)
Good luck with your family pal, I feel for you....

Thank all my great friends! I am back in town now and there are lasers here for most if not all of both GB 7 (all I'm sure) & 8 maybe all here too. I will have to begin testing and packaging them all afternoon today. thanks again friends! I am sure it make some long waiting buyers feel better to know shipping will begin Monday.

btw, they came by DHL and my adult son was here to receive the package. -Glenn
