If you have money to spent why not this coffee machine.
I hope the coffee is drinkable :)

I like the design of the system but the old style barista just is superior to any mechanized
coffee machine. Case in point, ever tried the swiss all in one barista machines? The coffee is crap after you try pulling a manual shot from a rancillio expresso machine.

The $800-$900 Rancillio, outdoes the $2000-4000 automatic swiss any day of the week in the flavour dept. Also the Lacrema, from the Rancillio is thick.

5 cup French Press-- $ 3- Jack 'n Dani 4 oz home roaster-$7( A real steal - the thrift shop had no idea what it was!!) -fair grinder (not burr but still)used $4= all three from thrift shops
20#of green beans on ebay for $45.(After placing a dozen snipes). free ship after a wait of 3 months(sold when still on the coffee trees). I roast four batches on Tusadays. yield willl be 15 #s- great savngs and super coffee. Green beans require little to store for a year and stay fresh. better than the coffee @ Fourbucks.

ya, coffee is really like a loaf of bread. Its best to be used within a week or 2 after eing roasted. All those places can have those beans for who knows how long. I wish i could grow some for my fiance, but its really a hard plant to harvest.

except for the Hi islands no coffee is grown in (Con) US.:(
each coffee 'bush' yields only one pound of beans per season.:yabbem:

I get 12 oz of french roast per pound of green beans- lasts me about a week. 4 batches @ 20 min and cooling time- shuts itself off and cools- filter catches the 'crack' my old method was outdoors with an Air popper- constant shaking it -- too much work.
:undecided:

heres to good coffee..

I want one! I like my white chocolate mochas, I have a Krupp's espresso machine and a cheapie coffee maker, grind my own beans every morning, I have to have a little coffee with my sugar. The cheapie coffee maker is a GE and it makes better coffee than a KitchenAid, Krupps or Cuisinart.
