WTB PS3 sled (KES 410)

Hi Guys,

im looking for PS3 sled to build the white laser Inspired by rog.

Here in this section I cant find them, on PSXBoy they cost 53$ shipped.

Is there a cheaper source anywhere? Without diode!!!
I need just the sled with the optiks!!!

Why don't you just get one of the PHR-803Ts that are selling for so cheap and keep the output low?

In Rog's mod you need the actual PS3 sled to make the white laser.

I have four of these diodes available. I used to build my lecture-type pointers with them, but I am using the SF-AD112 diode in them now. They are removed from the sleds, but if you need the PBS cubes and/or mirrors I can send some of them along. They have been removed from the heat sink, but the ribbon cable is still attached. They are $8 each plus $3 shipping per order.

Ooo I see... I just read rog's thread. I'll have to try that myself with the PS3 sleds I bought a while ago (never thought I'd use it for that).

Im Looking for the complete sled with all the Optiks mounted.

Im not looking for the Diodes I just want the sled to Build the White Pointer like rog created and posted.

A stop-gap alternative to this is to get rare earth magnets, glue the cubes to them and then position them on an rigid piece of ferrous metal. The KES sled is just so you don't need to position the cubes by hand. I've done this before in an attempt to make a yellow laser, but my piece of metal wasn't rigid enough.

Good idea with the magnets, it automatikly fix the gap IF the cubes are glued perfektly on the cubes. :-?
For the moment i want to test the rog mod.
