I want to buy the older versions of Photoshop or dreamweaver. If anyone has a used (with at least two installs) copy they'd be willing to sell, PM me. I know there are people selling Adobe Software on ebay, but I trust the forum members and the deals here. Thanks!
 





^ i would advise not to just torrent it, this can get you screwed or worse. If you are only hell bent on this then talk to me via pm and i will make sure you don't get a virus and are safe.

You want software? i got copies. If you want one with your own cd key that is only to you that is going to be hard.
Once you use a cd key even if you uninstall it, your not to give it away. That key is to be register to one person unit it expires or they die.
You can get a student copy for free with no limitations normally or at least at a discounted rate.
But i doubt there is used software.
Or if you talking about getting a "Open Copy" One that needs no key, that is a different story.
I own all my software but i do own a few open copies as they are nice and portable they run of a flash drive allowing me to work anywhere but i must remind you that to do this legally you need to own the SAME version of that software.
If you do not care about the whole legality thing then i would be willing to show you how to do it safely that way it keeps you from getting a virus or having your credit cards stolen.
I only say this as if this is what you wanted.

Look at student additions, look at a local college. A copy for PS cs4 would be about 150-200, but just a note, CS5 will be out later this year, which means those old copies of CS4 will be cheaper after CS5 releases.
 
But if you are a student you can get copies for free.
honestly you might want to as a great photo shop alternative use gimp. i used it before i got mine and it is very good.

If your a student you cannot get free copies. You just get the student license which is the full version, but your not supposed to use them for commercial uses. The only way to get them free are to steal them or if your college supplies them to their students, which doesn't happen unless you get lucky.
 
the op did not state what he was going to use them for.
So it would be up to him.
But i know many people who have used their student copies to make logos and other stuff for their personal sites, which do turn a profit.
All of my instructors said they had no limits to what and how i can use my software as long as i am still a student and i am the only one in possession of it.
I have used my master collection to make videos and edit them, with help from instructors before from one of my film classes, the ad made it on local television.
How ever it maybe true you are not allowed to use what you make in the student edition for profit but its better than out right getting an open copy.
Also check your local school there are competitions going on where they give out this software as prizes full licensing. i myself have won a few. i have software from 3DS max to inventor, solid-works, adobe master collection, maya.
 
I refuse to steal the software from a torrent. I am aware of that alternative, but I think its wrong. I do not need you to tell me how to be a digital thief. Thanks. I asked for offers to sell me a copy. Thanks.

I wasn't telling you how to do anything, just giving you an option. If you don't like what I have to say then click ignore.

And in case you have not absorbed it, there are no legal copies, unless you buy your own key. So unless you buy your own key, you will be using it illegally. Jackass. So either way its illegal. Go cough up the $400, or shut the hell up.

He just said he refused not that he hates you man, He just stated for the record how he wants to do it.
Now as for buying a copy i would suggest buying a student copy.
If you are not a student i could go buy one and send it to you.
But even still that's not perfectly legal but its much better and it has limitations however they are not in forced.
and tj its around 400$ i think for the whole suite.

Well, if you're going to stay on the "straight and narrow" you better make sure you're properly transferring the license. Otherwise, that "used" license you're "purchasing" is still essentially "stealing" (your words) from Adobe, only you've paid for that privilege, which is in many ways worse.
 
Thanks Bionic badger, thats a good point. And TechJunky, I am not apologizing. I think what I said was fair. Your saying that it is illegal to buy a hard unused copy off of someone else?
For the record, I try to be polite and truthful in my responses. I think it sets both a unnecessary and rude attitude when people use harsh and vulgar words when addressing a problem. I am not trying to jump on you TJ, it just bothers me when people do things illegally. Thats why I am trying to understand what is the most legal and money saving option to obtain what I need. Thank you.
