The company he uses don't even advertise a speed that fast. They advertise 20mbps max, so i have no idea lol.

Actually, Mediacom in my area only advertises 10Mbps down. I ran that test 6 times because I thought that it was wrong, but each time I did, that is what I came up with.

No photoshop buddy. I can send you the link that speedtest.net gave me if you'd like.

I can honestly say that most of the time when I do that test I get around 8Mbps, but every now and then I get freak days where it just flys. I don't know how else to explain it.

Never lag on any MMO's... Funny part is that my HTC@AT&T gives me 19MB down and 17MB up :P


I use my HTC hotspot often for online games and it runs better than my cable... PC, PS3, or Xbox

Our area has just had its speed doubled free of charge. it was 50Mb

now..

There is a bigger internet connection thread which is being kept up to date.
 
I have DSL cable connection. Recently I checked my internet speed at Scanmyspeed.com .I got accurate results. My Results are Download speed-20.057Mbps Upload speed-6.647Mbps. I like their services.
