Whats the worst you have ever been shocked?

240 and 400V mains, 320V camera flash.

The 400V mans was the most unpleasant thing I've ever felt, I could almost count each ac-pulse and I got mentally shocked too. 30 minutes later my hand got more and more numb, crawling up my arm and felt very hot.

Does everything slow down when you get shocked with mains ? I know someone who got shocked with mains and he said he saw/heard everything going in slow motion but to all of us he was moving really fast and screaming really fast , my friend fly kicked him off the electrified pole ;D

I was making a stun gun, I hit the on switch, it made my arm jolt and I knocked it on my nuts!
Never use toggle switches on stun guns!

I guess. It felt more like 10Hz.
 
I was turning my friends camera to an IR camera and I forgot to discharge the cap. ::) It is a weird feeling getting zapped by those things.
 
I'm probably going to get shock by the mains pretty soon. I hear in canada its more dangerous then in UK because Canada have half the volts so it needs double the Amps
 
I've been shocked by a DC flyback before. I forgot to discharge the built-in cap and touched one of the pins. The shock wasn't that bad though. It made my arm go numb for a few seconds and gave me an unpleasant jolt. I've also been hit by the sparks coming off the secondary of my tesla coil. They actually don't hurt unless the spark directly touches your skin. If you hold a conductive object like a metal rod and you aren't touching anything grounded you can put the rod near the toroid to draw the sparks without feeling any pain. You just get a mild tingle in your hand. If it arcs right to your skin then it hurts a bit. My coil is pretty small though. It's powered by a 6KV 20mA NST. I don't have it properly tuned yet and it puts out 6-8inch sparks.

That's not true. After you go over a certain amount of mA all you need is the voltage to push it through your body. The 20A or w/e from a 220V euro mains is more than enough to kill you. 20A from a 120V mains will be weaker if anything.
 
There is no difference between 15A and 100A when you get shocked by mains. Get hit in the right place, and your dead. The current will just determine how much you sizzle :P
 
idk, I've been shocked by DC flash caps and while it does hurt, it doesn't (imo) feel as bad as being hit with AC. I've been bitten by 120vac plenty of times, and once by my 7.5KV NST (don't want to do that again)
 
You know those shocking gum things? You know when you pull the little piece of metal, and it shocks you? It hurt your entire arm REALLY bad. Surprising from that little thing... Anyway, the first thing I would like to say: I do not suggest opening it up and replacing the tiny cell battery with a 9-volt battery. ::) OW! Second, do not pull it with your lips, especially with a 9-volt battery! I've never been shocked with anything to powerful, but belive me, THIS HURTS!
 
I am very careful when I play with this beast!
