What's in your diode box?!

I have ten ML101U29-25 650nm 300-400mW, two LPC-836, two ML501P73-02 635nm, one Nichia 445nm brand new NDB7712, one 12X S06J 405nm. I may have others, but would have to go through a lot of boxes to know for sure. These don't include the numerous drivers and lenses, four empty hosts, and modules, heat sinks, and miscelaneous laser stuff. Oh! And also eleven 532nm laser modules with drivers from 75mW to 200+ mW.

Ughh.

I have about

30 LOC 815's
2 M140 445s
1 12x 405
1 8x 405
1 Mitsubishi 300mw 638
11 C mount 808 - 1 watt
50+ misc 650/808/etc 9 mm diodes all .5 watt or more
plus more than I can count in other diodes.

. . .

waiting for a diode. :)

Waiting for a diode ?! Is there some special dream diode out there somewhere
that doesn't exist?

Anyway, I'm still waiting on approval of a F/S thread that seems to keep getting lost. I
have some 1500nm 2W C-mount diodes looking for a new home.

1500nm%20Diode%20Closeup.jpg
1500nm%20Diodes.jpg

12pcs 9mm projector diodes
10-ish 788nm IR diodes extracted from various sleds (one of which looks buildable)
4pcs 660nm sled pulls from 16x drives
2pcs 8x 405nm sled pulls
Some flat diodes from sleds
A few PL TB450B
940nm C-mount
LAZ-650-C still waiting for the host that is taking a long time to complete
A nearly full tray of sad looking Chinese C-mounts of unknown wavelength
2pcs 1W 808nm pump diodes for a future DPSS project
Last but not least a box of like 25 9mm IR diodes of unknown wavelength

What driver do you plan on using for your 1W 808nm pump diodes? I am ssuming they are 9mm diameter diodes with two pins? I have some but don't know what drivers to source.

Yes, probably either linear or buck. If it's linear, the input voltage would have to be pretty low, like 3-4V. It
would probably have to do at least 2A. Something like an LM317 or a few 7135s and good heat sinking.
The "1W" drivers on rayfoss and other places I do not trust. I have one and it gets very hot at 500mA.

My laser box contains:
1 - 445nm 9mm Laser Diode awaiting time to put in mace of doom
1 - 16X BDR-209 Bluray Diode awaiting me yo put in either a c-11 or zerolaser chunk
2 - Mitsubishi ML101U29-25 diodes pressed into module with axis driver
1 - mace of doom host see above
3 - c11 side clicky hosts see above
1 - zerolasers chunk host see above

I usually have 2 to 3 host lying around kinda like will manners... I'll stare at the host carry it around look at between commercials look at it right before I hit the hay then I'll throw together the drop down list of components on paper and see how viable the components are vs host capability's you know battery size materials on hand.

Then I usually have to wait on my suppliers to answer e-mails a volley of pricing and such.

On hand right now, prolly 3 LPC sleds, 1 or 2 PHR, 6 or 7 dual wave lengths and a 638nm HL63603TG waiting to swap out for the 638nm 300mW in my "yellow lantern" I'm also updating the mounts on that unit to R/G combo.

Are those metered? I'm in need of a >120mW 532. If you want to part with one hit me up. I'll be gone for a couple of days so give me some time to reply if you send me a private message. It has to be relatively cheaper than a 520 diode for obvious reasons.

I'm starting to believe they don't exist. I just got a "200mW" module from Wallbuys someone
recommended and it wasn't even half that.

After making me do a video, they're whining that return shipping is too expensive and the
supplier no longer makes them and want to issue a partial refund.

BubonicCronic, I am sure I have one that would fulfill your needs. I will get into them in a day or two and set one up for you, test it, and then PM you with the details. ;) Paul

If anyone has a 532nm module close to 200mW that they are selling(IR filtered or 200mW of 532nm and XmW of IR) let me know. Or if yall know of a good source.

5x 9mms (1 zombied) 4x PHRs that never seen fresh air, M140 that does less than 1w , one LOC, a broken 532nm module. Interestingly I never liked/had green lasers even the ebay pens were given away to friends and whoever asked to have one.

Modules:
2.6W M140 - X Drive - Olike G2 adjustable module.
2.4W M140 - X Drive - Olike G2 non adjustable module.
920mW 405 SJ - X Drive - Olike G2 module.
145mW PHR - Flexdrive - Olike G2 module.
2X ~275mW 650 - X Drive - Lazeerer red lens adjustable modules.
85mW 70mW 50mW 532 modules.

Plus I threw in a vintage 5mW 635 diode and LPC sled in the Laser Box going around.

WIP projects:
4W 40K micro laser projector.
Battery powered - speed adjustable - portable Lumia.
Black Hole Sun secret Lumia project.
2.1 channel sound reactive PIC controlled laser wave generators.
Robosapien v2 robot with cutting laser and Spirograph projector. Cutting laser will be mounted on the shoulder and work like the one the alien used in Predator.
Human skull replica with real ram horns surrounded by 405 laser pentagram.
445 powered vaporizer.
Laser clock.

that is so not fair (LOL)

I bought a bunch of those diodes when Clif went out of business, but I have since given a bunch away so I only have one of them now.
