Is $2000 expensive for a laptop in America? Because here in Australia, a decent laptop at the shops is around $2000-$2500... I think if I bought this this same laptop at Harvey Norman, it would probably cost around $2500+.rkcstr said:I'm not big on HP... Everyone I know who has one has complained about their customer service. Even in warranty, from what I've heard, HP just doesn't do the job or screws it up. Like my dad, he had a bad screen on his laptop, he sent it in, took them about a month to get it back AND they reformatted his hard drive?!?
And, that thing was $1700USD?? I'm guessing because you got a high-end brand new processor? Are you wanting this for mobile gaming or something? Otherwise, daily activities would be just as good on the much cheaper, older processors that are only slightly slower.
No thanks, I've already bought the HPvcw said:Were the prices you mentioned in USD?
Would you like to buy my laptop?
It's listed above int he picture,
Here in Australia, around $800AUD gets you a laptop with a 2.0ghz celeron processor at Harvey Normanrkcstr said:The link he posted was $2000AUS which is roughly $1700USD.
I suppose the electronics could have a higher cost over there... you can get basic Core2Duo laptops from Dell here for ~$800USD.
