What is your favorite Mediaplayer ?

Everybody is using a Mediaplayer. There are the most known as Windows Mediaplayer, Winamp or VLC. I tried them all but found no satisfaction.
Then i found JetAudio.
This Player beats them all. If Video or Audio no matter what kind of file format, he plays everything. The free version is doing great but the Pro version has amazing features.
Do you know a better one? Please let me know, i'm curious.

I'm on mac and i just use quicktime, occasionally VLC.

I am on Wondows 7 Pro and use Windows Media Player 12. Maybe not the best or most fully featured, but does everything that I want, so I have never needed to try something else.

I use JetAudio for many years ago, and for me works great.

I have not looked for another player, because this is great for me.

On my desktop with XP, I use realplayer. At one time, I used windows media player, but for some reason, it would always peg my cpu to 100 percent.

vlc best overall. lightweight, "just works", no bloated extra features, secure

VLC for video, iTunes and foobar2000 (depending on the OS) for audio.

Generally WMP, vlc or media player classic for video.

Winamp pro for music. I like the visualizations

Don't recall ever trying a file it wouldn't play for me. Did VLC fail for you in that aspect or was it someplace else?

MPCHC. Comes with CCCP so it'll play anything. Found VLC would always stuff up when it came to subtitles or alternate audio.

For music though I use winamp.

Videolan VLC ..... it reject to execute any executable code that can be inserted in the hidden tracks of WMV and similar formats, so it's still the more safe around (and it work good, too )

I use VLC by default. In some very rare cases alternative subtitles and/or audio tracks wont work so I use MPC+CCCP for that.
