LPF was down for more than 6 hours.... :/
Anybody knows what really happened?

I'm guessing it went something like this.....

something happend this morning in the server room

people freaked out

IT was notified and begin to assess the problem

after some time there was an update

it was only progress, a solution had not yet been found

eventually a cause was identified

measures were taken to correct the problem

(Im kidding, no kittehs were harmed - thats a costume)

and now LPF is back

My webhost had an outage today. this was a global problem that impacted all customers, not just LPF

just got home from work and researching now to make sure data integrity is ok

everything should be restored now. just put the site in maintenance mode to run a few tests... data integrity seems fine

this was outage across my entire webhost, not LPF specific problem or attack

take care, all, sorry for inconvenience. fortunately stuff like this rarely happens, overall my host is much more reliable than any other one i have had , and they help stop lots of attacks regularly

i will be monitoring the site to make sure all stays ok
