I personally wouldn't be as interested in the 600mW one, simply because many forum members would put together their own 600mW (or higher) 405nm pointer for less money. So even if it is up to spec, it's probably not as attractive of a purchase.

I would stick to green lasers. That's the area where forum members cannot DIY their own to the same extent.

It is not needed for a red laser to be tested? well, it will save us some time. we will test the 500mw one firstly if possible. And will test other ones later.

No need to test red or blue lasers (more specifically, any direct diode laser) for infrared.
You can always test any laser for their power output, though.

Only DPSS lasers, like the green ones, can leak infrared.

As cool as that would be, 10mW is only equivalent in perceived brightness to somewhere around 27mW of 445nm. Relative Brightness Calculator In other words, buy it for the color, but not the power/visibility. (and certainly not the price!)
