Lou, Mar 05 00:52 (PST):
Hello Jake,
You're welcome!
We regularly ship to many customers in Australia with no problems. You do not have to inform customs and you do not have to pay any tax or fee.
The laser is shipped in one package and is unmarked. There is no mention of the word "laser" in any of the documentation. It will also be marked at a lower value.
If in the rare case the package is lost or taken by customs, we will ship the order again but in general the packages we send get delivered successfully.
We guarantee delivery or you get a full refund inclusive of shipping charges.
If you have further inquires please just let us know and we'll be glad to answer.
Best regards,
Lou

It's definitely the avatar.... you can be 40 in real life with kids, a great job, firearms and explosives licenses, but with that mirror selfie picture avatar... still going to get the kid treatment.
Nothing personal, or offense meant.
Btw, there is a reason I was asking about your budget. A friend of mine has an 700-800mW krypton he wouldn't mind selling.
He also organised me to do a build for him! Interesting...So wait... you wanna pay top dollar for a WL, but your umming over a $300 Jetlasers laser.... I think you're all talk.
What happened to the custom laser you wanted me to build you? Or the gun host laser you wanted me to make you?

@OP Australia has an LPM at customs so if it looks like a laser under the X-Ray and they open it, then you already have no chance of receiving it, if they LPM it you have a -100% chance of getting it, I think the guy at WL is lying. If you have ever seen the Australian customs at work, you will know they are very thorough.

I spoke to Gray in the past regarding the PL-E 300mW. He was able to ship in two packages @ $35 ea which i think is a great price. He also told me that if customs do seize it, ill get a full refund. (Its unlikely that customs will seize parts of a laser that is incomplete).
As for customs LPM'ing the lasers, what if they receive one without batteries? Do they go out of their way to find batteries?
Yep, I'm pretty sure one way or another they will find out which batteries to use fairly easy (like the user manual), and they should have some on site.
Gotta love the way Australia is known for it's extreme thoroughness of detecting lasers! Makes me wanna move to New Zealand..
Rub it in much? hahaMakes me wanna stay in Canada LOL :san:
