Nice build! How's battery life looking?

Just based on a guesstimate, id say approx 45mins between charges..
The batteries are labeled at 1200mAh each which is probably bogus
but not too far off...
Guess it would be safe(r) to say 1/2hr per charge. Wont know for sure
until it gets the 'assembled' test runs on a fresh set...
Was going to make this for 2x 18650's but would be way too long. As it stands
the 2 18350's stacked are just a bit longer than a single 18650. Though a 3 LD array
has crossed my mind using 4 x 18350's in a parallel series config.
It would be the same length, just a wider body.
Well played! I don't generally do handhelds, but if you do a labby let me know. I'll be first in line to buy it.

I have labby's from single LD up to 4 LD array's... One of
the 4 LD labby's can be seen in this video, though it is not
shown in operation, just the build pics..
Wannaburn, that is a fine, fine work of art you have created!! All I can say is I am not worthy! We may be looking at the next evolution of handhelds. I would most certainly be interested in one someday! +1 for you...
Dont worry, now that im making the hosts, the sky's the limit :san:
I've got my paper and pencil out and am drawing up some plans for
a combined 800mW - 1W of 650 with single mode LD's.
I was going to start with multi colour yellow, orange, etc but seems
a China company beat me to it.. For now I will focus on what is not
available anywhere else.
Though you have to admit it 'was' the most powerful production laser
for a bit.. until the other china companies caught up..
Are we ignoring the Hercules on grounds that no mere mortal can afford it?
