V4 Lightsabre NDG700 Blackbuck M8

I bought this hilt and thought it would look awsome with a 520nm diode and it does,

I was going to put a switch with a green LED but this stainless switch was a little larger and looked better perfectly dropping into the slot,

The blackbuck was already set at 2a but I double checked with my testload spot on,

I'm waiting on a few pots to arrive when they do I'll be adding one Next to the switch for current adjustment,

So I'm getting 920mw at 2a with a 2ellement AR coated lens and for now I'm using 2 IMR 16340 witch is fine for this diode even though there's room for thicker batts.

This hilt is very large and solid in my hand, love it.
I'll add LPM reading a bit later.

Wow, nice build and sweet host! The higher powered 520nm diodes are some of my favorite. I'm looking forward to seeing adjustable current on this. Just one more thing to top off a quality piece of laser.

What do you think about the 700 vs the 7475?
Where can I get the best deal on a 700 diode?
I passed up some good deals on NUGM01's but they looked like hot pulls, I would like to get a watt of 520 for around 100 dollars, also have you tested the NUGM01 with the GBall on? What size is the spot at a given distance?
I may use a 01 as is with it's GBall, if it was like the 06 that would be great, that is the spot size, I know 5 watts is not here yet, the 520's are just 1 watt, a pretty 1 watt but still 1 watt.

Not sure why more sellers don't have the NDG700 I got mine from Jordan for that price it's good to know the seller,
You can grab the NUGMOIT from Techood for $120 price is going down but I would prefer a can so NDG7475 is the way to go,

I haven't had a 7475 or MOIT Red sorry but I like the 700s this sabre turned out awsome and the 2 element lets me focus to a dot without all the splash from a G2 and still close to 1w power.

with the G2 I get 1.15w and that's more than enough, I figure 2 high power greens is enough to have in my collection, if I lost one I would then get a 7475,
