Look a bit like the one I traded to Timelablasers for a few bare tubes. A pretty cool little pointer and I do remember seeing them in the Edmunds catalog when I was young and wanting one. Alas I guess the price just hasn't gone down in 20 years.

Maybe he's concerned that customs won't let it in?

Maybe Australia has an embargo on Australian-made products ?

Maybe HeNe lasers are an awesome investment!
I think people have been taking the Mickey out of him about his ridiculous listing because ebay is not even allowing any questions to be sent to the seller.

<$100 IIRC, I sold one to Diachi for $60

Sure, if the buyer thinks its a fair price, thats entirely up to him. As long as the laser is sold as advertised, i see nothing wrong with it.
