I'll wait for 2nd/3rd gen google glass, or equivalents. UI & functionality is just as important to me as the display capability... and of course needs to work well with glasses.

Can't wait until we're able to also dispense with keyboards & mice turning to subvocalization and eye tracking.

Eye tracking is already a reality... not sure there is anything out there to interpret subvocalization though :(
 
Exciting times though. I remember reading William Gibson and any other "Cyberpunk" I could get me hands on. It still amazes me how far we've come in such a very short time, relatively speaking.

and eventually wont tvs stop getting better because we cant see any better? isnt that retina display?
