Seriously, though, no need to run - why not work to gain back the rep you lost instead? You'll get a lot more out of it in the long run...

like i told another noob.... just do a really good review of an un reviewed laser or do a tutorial of a cool project and almost all will be forgiven LoL.... but no need to run... just because you got called out on your non sense, it doesn't mean you are hated...

Yep there is no need for you to leave unless you want to ! just try to be a good member and contribute to the forum ! and no deception, we are not stupid here so trying to pull a fast one usuly dosn't work !
Just contribute to the knowledge base and every once in a while kick in some bucks to keep it up and running I do that every month rain or shine.

Hmm, seems like there has been a stream of newer members on here getting themselves in trouble with their posts... I'd say the worst way to deal with it is to keep reminding everyone why they were angry with you. This especially applies to arguing about or even "explaining" the events. Best way to handle it is to apologize, stick your tail between your legs and let it fade into the past. Call it a "humbling experience" and just make sure it doesn't happen again.

BTW, this isn't directed at the OP or anyone for that matter... just a general opinion.
