Those poor burglars... I raged!

wow, didn't know it was a .50 cal :O
they said the distance were.. the other side of the street. Anyways, as Shhh said: "Dead men tell no lies", it worked :p
Probably, they got lazy to head to HQ and get a smaller wep rofl ;)

mmMMmm 50 cal
Think its time to go shopping again............................
I just wish i could get a hold of a AA-12.

@shhh
I had a vulcan (M61) some time ago. Had to sell it to get a 100mW yellow pointer from CNI.. :cryyy:

naaah, joke. ;)

A .50 cal for sniping is not inusual, for police action ..... the main purpose is to kill "immediately" the target, also avoiding, if possible, automatic reactions from muscles that can shoot their weapons also if they are "technically dead" ..... this can be obtained both hitting them in precise points (usually base of the head, where spinal nerves exit from brain), or if impossible, using a so high energy bullet that the impact move the target "away from hostage line of fire" as maximum as possible, so also if the gun shoot for involuntary muscolar contraption, there's a good possibility that the bullets loss the hostages ..... also, consider that usually they shoot through windows glasses ..... glass is fragile, but is not air, and for a precision shoot, it can change the trajectory of a more precise, but more light, bullet, especially for double glasses, or "infrangible" glasses used for offices and public places ..... a .50 have enough energy for pass a wall, so a glass panel don't change enough its trajectory.

And, after all, they don't care too much about the criminals, when they are shooting them, right ? (uhm, they only need to hope that also the criminals don't have a sniper with a .50, then ..... :p :D)

Sorry all, the guy was threatning the hostage with a grenade. LOL.
oh and you goes to the last part of the video, they show a pierced iron door, after the bullet pierced thru the criminal..

I was surprised to hear a case in the past about an old lady getting sued by the very burglar that broke into her house and was shot by her in attempt to rob her and survived. Sometimes laws [or lawls] work in very silly ways that tries to protect both the protagonist, antagonist, and bystanders under a single system. In this case, preventing injury that results in lawsuits founded on illegal practices in the first place.

^ ROTFLMAO ! :crackup:

Yes, this can be a good system for draw attention, too ..... :p :D
