yes, a good laser indeed.
i got 2 True 50mWs before and i think there was something wrong with them.

do they?
dim and stop burning after using for 30 seconds so u must wait to use again?
not respond well to holdong down the button, u need to press it just right.

cuz thats what the 2 i had did, and im just glad the UltraFire brands are of a good build.

i have not read this before, thanks for pointing it out. ive had too many nightmares with the DX true lasers tho, im hoping this laser will be strong enough it shouldnt need any modding/fixing. i hope it can take a fall.
 
now the status in my invoice has gone from "shipped" to "ordering"
so ive sent them a message to see whats going on.

what happened? their plane crashed upon the delivery? :-?
 
I think I'm giving up on this..  I wrote a ticket to complain about their seemingly arbitrary "status" system and the long delay in order fulfillment.  I received this response:

This item you ordered is sold out now, would you mind change to some other item in stock? Or if you like we can refund you.
Really sorry for the inconveninece (sic) brought to you!

And I ordered a week before you.    Sheesh!

One of the footnotes on the invoice page says:
Note: to prevent delays in sending orders, it is our standard practice to partially ship orders with what we immediately have at no additional cost for you. When this happens you may see order status changing from "shipped" back to "ordering" as we work on the remaining items.

I was looking at the 90mw dx laser too. It has gone from backorder to out of stock in the past few days on the dx web site.
 
Ahh!

Mine is in the mail now and trackable - so it's definently sent :D.. I just hope it's worth the hype and puts out a wopping 90mw of green goodness!

ahh me too!!! yes!

now im a very optimistic (thats probably spelled wrong) but lets ruin the mood shal we? what if we are all recieving flashlight holsters as apologies for the delay? ive recieved one because my true 50mW had something wrong with it.

haha what am i kidding, were getting it! a new years present! well now for the wait lol. i feel sorry for anyone who recently canceled it, that must really suck..

strangly i got 3 (THREE) emails conforming my shipment, o well.

btw ive never known how to actually TRACK track it, only look in hte ivoice and see "ok...its on step 4/4...." is there any advanced tracking with air mail?

damn!!!! that even angers me! UN-cancel it if you can. talk about a happy new years for you. hopefully the customer service can make it happy if you contact them.
