yea i was thinking the same, but im sure the website would already be here on the forum if we found out. besides, im assuime you can only order large quantities, or need to be a buisness

Well anything goes there @DX. They wrote the canceled 90mW Ultrafire was shipped with a rifle scope but I got the scope but no Ultrafire (I expectected that). Longest shipping time ever from DX for  me 11/8-12/3. Customs? gun scope flagged maybee!

Batterys connections are flaky, current varies, buttons drop voltage, beam will let you know.

im still not gonna cancel my order tho, i know it will come eventually, just a lot of confusion and frustration comes with it.
 
I also ordered two of those 10mw's plus batteries, and they got shipped yesterday ;) *ohh joy*. So i'll guess i'll have them in a couple of days - unless customs is doing a raid (my two last shipments from DX got stuck in Swedish customs. One really small + one big parcel). Grrr... >:(

Ok so I got a message from DealExtreme. I asked the same guy I had asked a couple questions to before and during the purchase of my order. Here was my response:

Dear Clayton,

I am getting mad, this item haven't been shipped based on the shortage of market supply.

I really have no idea how to apologize for you, would you mind cancel it? I just afraid that it will take too much time to fulfil, sorry for this trouble.

When a business tells you that you should cancel your order and not buy from them, you KNOW it's a bad situation. I really don't think I will ever see that laser. I just need to find something else. Unfortunately everything else is too expensive, or just as risky, ie buying from Kaidomain. So I have no idea what to do...

because I'm only 17 my dad had to order the laser. he sent dealextreme a message also:

I received an e-mail that a laser pointer (SKU 9311) has been backordered for one month. The e-mail said my options were to either select a similar product or cancel the order.

These options do not work for me. I cannot find anything similar at your website for the same price. Also, when I ordered the laser pointer, I ordered additional batteries and a battery charger. They arrived 2 days ago, but they are useless to me without the laser pointer.

Please answer the following:
When will the laser pointer I ordered be available?
Why did your website say that the laser pointer was packaged and ready for shipment?
Do you have a similiar laser that can use the batteries and charger?

Thank you.

Their response was:

Hi,
1. Approximate one week for the back order of sku 9311.
2. The update of the information is sometimes delayed.
3. For the similiar laser, would you please check the front page, where you can find what you really want?

So, if that stuff is true, it's good news. However, the person I had been talking about had a different story...so I'm not sure what to expect.
 
yay, we dont need to cancel our orders.
I got an instant reply. Here's what they said.

Hi Mike,
Approximate one to two weeks for the back order and as soon as we have the item, we will ship it out.

Don't push em, be patient and wait it out. I get mad at them but when I see a beam it's all worth it!!!!
 
Heh.. Thiis morning, my order status changed from "Ready to ship shortly" to "Processing - Contact us for the latest updates".    What a ridiculous system..

Chances are that it arrived from the supplier to DX, they tested it and found it to be defective... this happens from time to time.

yes but that one reviewer got his and it seemed fine to him
 
Hello... I've been debating whether or not I should get the 90mW UltraFire... has anyone received it yet and gotten to use it?

hello mumbles. no one on the forum has recieved this laser yet, as you can see they just shipped mine, ill be waiting for it! ;D
