Anselm - you are 90% of ther way towards TEXT and PICTURES using those speakers !!! Read the hell outta that 'ble, I've actually sent him a few diodes to play with since I was so impressed with his work on his glavos-speaker dealio ! NICE WORK !

PLEASE get an arduino and finish his project with your intense galvo setup, it'll be incredible !

Since you guys seem to like it so much, have some "RGB".:na:

The Arduino thing is cool, but these here ones have to much play, are not
very balanced on to the other.
Also, I am overdriving them quite a bit in favour of a big scanning angle,
so the whole thing altogether is probably not precise enough for text.....:thinking:

Hey ! I would LOVE to take credit for that, but I donated to the Instructables guy who posted the Arduino speaker galvo thingy - he doesn't know that much about the laser hobby, and like most "dealers" of OTHER types...I'm trying to get him addicted ! :-) (kidding !) Naw - I was simply VERY impressed with his work, and asked him if he had ever messed around with other colors, etc - so I sent him a few to mess with.

Anselm - if you would like a token donation from me as well, please email me your contact info - I'm pretty sure you have shopped with me before, if so, I still have your info in my store's DB - just refresh my memory ! THAT way, I'm not made out to be the bad guy :na:

As you can see, I already have the odd laser or two.:whistle:

I wouldn't want to take advantage of someone else's misunderstandings, so you don't have
to feel obliged to donate anything to me - especially because I don't plan to go ARDUINO anytime soon with this, the next hurdle for me would be to combine the beams into one.
I couldn't even guarantee that your donation would end up in this little project.:undecided:

Then again, sometimes people get offended when a gift of theirs is turned down.:shhh:

I don't think I have shopped with you before, btw.:thinking:

I KNOW now where I recall you from ! MY sales thread, where I announced my 445nm diodes for sale, and you told me about not saying the dreaded C word ! LOL - as a matter of fact, you were a LOT nicer than a letter I received from some ass-hat named (well, I won't name PYRO here, of course...THAT would be RUDE !) anywho - he, out of the blue, TORE into me, etc claiming I was trying to tear down the forum, etc...man - I tell you - crack is BAD news kids....stay way away from that stuff - REALLY bad news !

ANYWAYS - I'll gladly "donate" to your next project (within reason, of course !) simply because I CAN, and also because you were nice, and helped me to NOT make a mistake with the dreaded C word :) Just a token to let you know I appreciate the assist, the kind way you stated it, and the MATURE way you replied ! :-) {clip=clop....steps down from soap box}
