From time to time, I purchase varying types of laser modules from several sources. I buy these modules for use in my YouTube videos and general experimentation. I fully intend to sell these laser modules after having them for a short bit so I’m offering them for quick sale here on LPF.
All lasers that are up for sale have only been operated for power testing and maybe for a few minutes in a YouTube video of mine, so are basically brand new. (unless otherwise noted).
New >1W 460nm Lab Modules (Analog Modulation)
After lots of searching, I finally came across ~460nm diode lasers. Using a diffraction grating, I calculated the wavelength of one of these modules to be 463nm. Using the same setup, I calculated my Arctic to be 448nm and a 473nm DPSS module to be 472nm. Now even though I used precise measurements for the calculations, there is still a chance of error in the exact number but there is still a considerable wavelength gap between this laser and a run of the mill 445nm laser diode. If you are not satisfied with the wavelength of this laser, I'll let you send the laser back for a full refund.
The color of this laser is noticeably different from the ~445nm lasers I own. When compared side by side, 445nm tends to lean towards a violet hue while 460nm looks nothing but blue. The color difference is more noticeable in the beam than the "dot" IMO.
These lasers tend to operate between 1.1W-1.3W. It has analog modulation for use in scanners and such, and is plug and play for any wavelength junkies out there. Duty cycle is 100% due to adequate heatsinking and fan cooling of the laser head.
Price of these modules is $250 shipped to US, all other countries please contact me for a shipping quote.
New 532nm Lab Modules
I tend to go through a lot of complete "lab style" 532nm systems, if you are interested in a good deal on a new 200mW-1W+ green laser in TTL or Analog (varying brands) I can probably beat most prices out there depending on what I have on hand. I can do higher powers too, but there is less of a chance that I'll have any on hand.
New 473nm Laser Modules
I have a new 473nm laser module that sits stable at 180mW. The beam is a nice round TEM00, and divergence is around 0.5mRad. It has analog modulation. I'm wanting $440 for this laser.
Used/repaired CNI 473nm Laser Modules PRICE DROP!
Click here for more info on these modules.
These modules were originally broken, and I purchased them to practice DPSS crystal realignment. I put a lot of time into these modules to get them to have usable output. These modules are made by CNI, so these prices are a steal when compared to what they would have cost new. These units were very expensive!
Here are the lasers for sale. All photodiodes have been removed, and you will need to supply your own power cord for these units (Just a standard computer power cord). Watch out for exposed line voltage with these units! Divergence is high on these units, but adding a lens will fix that.
2. 7mW, bad mode. This unit has lower splash which is a good thing. I can't quite pick out what the mode is. I realigned this one without any improvement. Image of this particular unit's beam: http://www.styropyro...rs/IMG_0755.JPG $50
#7. 27mW, TEM00. Best unit of the bunch I'm selling, this is the only one that I bought as "working" (cost me $88 before repairs.). Price drop! $95 (was $115)
For the CNI 473nm modules, shipping to US is $11 per module, Canada is $16, and Greece is $30. Contact me for a shipping quote for other countries.
Other stuff
I'd consider selling my >200mW 473nm lab laser (usually sits around 260mW-290mW) as seen in this thread with the right offer, so feel free to message me if you are interested. Keep in mind that I am in no hurry to sell this as I have become a bit attached to it.
If there is a laser module that you are interested in but not on the list, feel free to message me and see if I have something to offer.
My eBay Listings!
Here is what I am currently selling on eBay: styropyro | eBay
Keep in mind that I usually charge more for my stuff on eBay than I would here on LPF due to fees and higher risk of getting screwed over. In some cases I can offer similar modules to the ones I have listed on eBay for a lower price, so feel free to contact me if you are curious.
