200-300mA would be fine. Personally, i would do 300mA, but make sure you have a good way of cooling.

Got mine, works like a charm. I'm running it at 300mA no problems  ;)

Great my current glasses don't protect 650nm, looks like I'm getting new ones.

so, would it be alright if i ran this diode at 400mA with good heatsinking?

With an Aixiz module type -- Pressed in and HS grease -- Mine withstood 400 mA. Remember, I was looking for max stuff and not long term rerliability. I'd stay around 350 mA since my graph shows diminishing returns over that.
