I dunno if I 100% buy that.. He didn't speak a word of lie about it, he gave potential customers factual information to conciser when buying from WL and he personally liked the unit... I don't see anything wrong with what he said or did.

Yes WL did get the better end of the deal positive reviews are the best thing a company can get but I don't think they bought him out...

Your saying that I am not honest because I posted my findings with this laser?

I gave an honest report about a laser that I happen to like. I was not asked to give this report. I gave it simply because I had the laser, I knew a little about it, and wanted to share my opinion of it.

I think I answered a few questions about it as well...

My post was not about WL and their policies, bad rep, etc...

P.S. I only expected 500mW's because I read that it was supposed to be between 500mW's and 1 Watt.

One thing you are right about. Those are Dave's words, not mine...

Whooooooaaa. You are taking my comments in the wrong direction. I'm saying that your guidance, honesty, and quality is going to make WL a lot of money. Worth more than the lenses you traded. You are being a spoke model in other words. That why I think you got the short end of the stick. You get a laser, they get your endorsement, which is worth much more than the laser.

I know I come off like a jerk sometimes, but I'm not a complete asshole. I thought I was being clear.

I guess I can see it both ways now, but it's easy to think that you meant it the other way... (knowing you!) :crackup:

Anyway, it's not like the way Dave put it.

I never expected it to be 1 Watt. I was only expecting 500mW's (or hoping for), because that is what they claim. (between 500mW's and 1 Watt)

So this is actually another question about the laser that I think I answered in the OP.

I'm also not convinced that there is not an IR filter. (there very well could be) I mentioned two different IR tests that I did for others to know about...

This is where Dave and I agree. Your words carry weight obviously, and it looks like you are saying its OK to be happy with an underspec $1000 laser from WL. Your review really doesnt have any "cons". There are no real solid complaints, or measurements openly showing proof of its quality. You have 3 links to WL info areas, and you mention not once, but twice that they are stocked up, and ready for orders. The whole thing is closer to an ad then a review. And you were happy to do all this for an underspec laser.....:undecided:

What I said, was that I never expected it to be 1 Watt, because I read that it was supposed to be between 500mW's and 1 Watt...

I did mention this point...

If the laser lasts, I have no complaints about it...

P.S. I don't call this a review. Just some power measurements and current readings. (and a few other observations)

I simply tried to make an informative post. And I still think that there is good information in it.

You obviously don't approve...

Me, being still a n00b laser enthusiast, would wonder whats the MRad, TEM, does it mode hope after a minute, how long does the battery last, whats the size of the beam? Also pictures of the readings, spot, beam, and spot through goggles. Ect, ect ect.

Your post is about a brand new $1000 1W green laser, not a dilda. I've seen you give better commentary on a 1" Cracked Uranium Marble.

I dont dislike your post. There is nothing there to like, or dislike really.

But you have to start insinuating that I am not professional enough, or not a laser enthusiast...

You seem to think you are some great help to the forum with your great skills in finding spammers and banned people. But your bad out weighs your good.

Trolling is posting just to piss people off with BS.

People on this forum seem to get this confused. Just because my opinion is not sugar coated, or in agreement with yours does not mean its a troll. I have the same right to air my opinion as you do yours. If you dont like that too bad, I have to live with others dribble, you have to live with mine. I bring facts to my opinions, I dont just blow them out of my a$$. Funny thing is I'm not saying what I really want to say, because I'm trying to be fair. There was no insinuations, just clear facts.

I know, I'm such a loser because I dont build. That means 98% of the forum are losers. So you just called the majority of the forum losers. Now thats a troll. I clearly said I was a n00b LE, how much clearer can I make it? I hold everyone to the same standards I hold myself. BS is BS, and if I catch it I'm calling it out. Jay once again you're reading to much into my posts. I never questioned your honesty, not did I say you were not a LE. I know you are a LE, and was wondering why, as a LE, you dont have all the sats I mentioned. You are talking about a $1000 1W green laser for crying out loud. Everyone wants to know EVERYTHING about it.

This is the last time I'm going to explain why they dont ban me.

1. Obviously a lot of people enjoy my Rhetoric.
2. I dont break any hard forum rules.
3. I do provide a service to the forum.
4. I've proved numerous times I dont care about post count or rep. So there is no punishment taking my account away. I can come back with a flick of my router/modem every time I get banned. I know all the tricks. How do you think I catch people?
