1. Obviously a lot of people enjoy my Rhetoric.
2. I dont break any hard forum rules.
3. I do provide a service to the forum.
4. I've proved numerous times I dont care about post count or rep. So there is no punishment taking my account away. I can come back with a flick of my router/modem every time I get banned. I know all the tricks. How do you think I catch people?

Those two statement are incompatible. If you came back after being banned, using a proxy, you did break a "hard rule" I guess rules just don't apply to the troll overlooser.

Cool!! Cant wait from the MRad, beam size, and battery life stats. I will be nice to see the pictures of the beam, spot, TEM, and test runs of 3 minutes or more for mode hopping issues.

There were some who asked if I would update the thread if anything went wrong with the laser, etc...

Last night I did update the first post with new information on IR. Just a quote of what was told to me yesterday via email.

For the record, some of that information you listed, I touched on in the first post:

* Beam size - I talked about the beam size and how it compared to three other lasers.

* Mode hopping - I talked about that as well, but only at 1 minute runs.

* Picture of the beam - I show a nice beam shot there.

* Battery life - I measured battery current draw. From that information, anybody can get an estimate of what can be expected for run time between charges. (depending on the capacity of their battery)

About the 3 minute runs you want to see. I'm sorry, but I have always had the habit of using a 1 minute duty with my lasers. And even though they claim 'continuous duty', I don't happen to believe in that for a hand held DPSS laser with this kind of power...

Other information I touched on:

* Output power
* SmartSwitch / modes
* Size comparison
* Package contents
* Speculating inner workings
* Two different IR tests
* Thermostatic regulation

Also for the record, I mentioned in the first post, that this was just a post to mention my impression of the laser, and some power measurements and current readings.

I tried to show some basic information, and give some 'first question' type of answers...

Nice laser, but I think is too expensive for what it offers. I never bought from Wickedlaser because the bad rep of the 445nm shipping issues, so I can't comment about the company itself.

I got a JETLASER PL-C 532nm 600mW that is overspec and it easily goes up to 950mW. And I paid US$650,00.

Haha reginak! it always seem's nobody takes any notice of this! whenever anyone asks me about the most powerful handheld 532 i always link them to your review! the jetlasers 600mw peaks higher than the 1W krypton, its build quality is awesome, its from an awesome company... a lot of people are making a big fuss about the krypton as if its something new and its the most powerful 532 out there, while us wise ones sit back and laugh with REAL 1W's in our hands

Thing is with jetlasers, they don't target young kids and they don't claim "THIS IS THE MOST POWERFUL GREEN LASER IN THE WORLD!"

Jetlasers would be sat back shaking their heads saying to themselves "What an idiot"

You mean the links? Yes they were there...

The motive was not to advertise, but just to try to be informative.

I always put links in my threads if you have noticed.

With this post, it was a little different, in that I had the laser about a month before I posted. So I actually wrote the information ahead of time, and had it in a Word doc, that I just copy and pasted...

The Facebook link for example, was there because at first, you could only get the laser by signing up through Facebook. Then that changed, and it became available on their site.

It doesn't matter what company, I would have put a link trust me...
