Cool!! Cant wait from the MRad, beam size, and battery life stats. I will be nice to see the pictures of the beam, spot, TEM, and test runs of 3 minutes or more for mode hopping issues.

There were some who asked if I would update the thread if anything went wrong with the laser, etc...
Last night I did update the first post with new information on IR. Just a quote of what was told to me yesterday via email.
For the record, some of that information you listed, I touched on in the first post:
* Beam size - I talked about the beam size and how it compared to three other lasers.
* Mode hopping - I talked about that as well, but only at 1 minute runs.
* Picture of the beam - I show a nice beam shot there.
* Battery life - I measured battery current draw. From that information, anybody can get an estimate of what can be expected for run time between charges. (depending on the capacity of their battery)
About the 3 minute runs you want to see. I'm sorry, but I have always had the habit of using a 1 minute duty with my lasers. And even though they claim 'continuous duty', I don't happen to believe in that for a hand held DPSS laser with this kind of power...

Also for the record, I mentioned in the first post, that this was just a post to mention my impression of the laser, and some power measurements and current readings.
