Do any body of you test this diode before ?
Lifetime?
Current setting ?
output ?

Why buy that when you can get a 12X Lite On sled for $60 in one of the group buys. Plus they are way overrating that diode from what I saw in the search I did for you it is 150mW diode. Hardly worth $10 not the $50 they want.

These are the same diodes I tested here last week. Not from this supplier though.

They do appear to be 8x diodes and the information I have is that they come from the BDR-203 sled so they are a pretty well known and respected diode. The one I tested seemed to be of lower efficiency but still only died when becoming a Class IV!

I should be able to make some of these available soon too if anyone is interested and depending on numbers it's likely they will at least match the price of space-linker but probably be a tad cheaper too.

Thanks for your answer :D
So 300ma would be a safe current setting , right ?

12x selds $65

I got one of these in the mail the other week and built into a SH-032 host with the jayrob copper module kit and a micro boost set to 555mA (5x1N5405+1ohm) and i am getting 700-720mW average with a long run time of 5-7 mins. works great! 405 is a very fun wavelength.

According to the graphs I've seen yes. Look for the, "8x Graphs", or similar, (this PC is painfully slow so I'm not going to search for you on this occasion I'm afraid), and you'll find some graphs eventually or use the search button.

It took me a while to find one but I went for 365mA and my first and it has been fine.

No gaurantees in this game but I would be happy to set one at 300mA.

I can offer these for $47 delivered and will be putting a thread in the GB section shortly.
