So how does this baby compare to a 445nm? I never seen this WL in real life.

445nm looks purple next to 473nm. It's a really nice wavelength, plus you'll have the nice tight beam of a DPSS laser.

445 does not compare at all to 473!

There are people around collecting every available wavelength. I´m the type of laser enthusiasts who wants to see the different wavelengths in person at least one time.

The 473nm has a MUCH better beam profile and beam specifications than the 445nm. It´s caused by the DPSS characteristics of the 473nm, compared to the multimode 445nm diode. Comparing them is day & night. The color of the 473nm has a touch of cyan, 445nm has a bit of violet inside. (Pontiacg5 summed it up well)

I think it hasn't sold yet because of the 445nm's. If you would have sold this before the Casio projectors came out. It would have went quick. I don't think people appreciate the different wavelengths.

Im assuming its a lot lighter blue than 445. Getting more closer to the "teal" side?

@ SilverShot, shame on you buddy. $473.00 for that laser is a slap in the face to the owner. GREEN (532nm) lasers sell for ~$1.00 per mW. To expect to get a 473nm laser for the same amount of mW's per $1.00 is an insult. Just my opinion................ rob

Rob, a 532nm would be $532 looking at Silvershot´s intelligent calculations rolleyes. It´s ok when he gives an (non serious?) offer. Really interested buyers would only consider the usefull post or send me a PM for more questions
