Thanks for sharing Alex. Like the others, this brings back memories.

These things seem to be put together with lots of glue and tight press fittings for sure. Definitely makes things difficult.

When I tried to get the green modules out of some, I ended up just using a small pipe cutter to get the rest of the host off so that the module was mostly exposed. That was before I knew higher quality modules were easy to get.

Nicely done Alex... Been a while since I tried
that.

Jerry

Thanks guys! :) :D

Hmm. I think there's a member here that has so many lasers he calls it a museum. To date, I think he has purchased every single one of them and does not build either. I prefer to build. It is most of the fun involved in having them. The more I do, the better I like it, but I guess it's not for every member here.

Not sure yet 10fenny. I'm actually kind of okay with my collection right now. No need to expand :)

This is what first got me into this hobby, taking apart a few cheapie pointers loosing the green beam then seing a red beam and curiosity of how the hell that happened, then taking apart a few more and buying a few more and so on and so forth, My curiosity brought me here and in no time I was building the real deal. What a journey thanks for the reminder Hap!

Curious, do you really believe what you write or have you just not been paying attention?

And more, but like most people I imagine, haven't posted all their builds.

Ps, I'd like to know what I did to offend you so, or are you just a bitter and jealous person by nature?

Have a good day. :)

Pss, I'm guessing when you commented on the threads, maybe you didn't know they were my build threads. No, that won't work, because you even congratulated me on a build. I know, maybe your just having a senior moment. Happens to the best of us. :)

Sorry for the double post.

Hap; with your 405 flashlight/laser you can use that to hunt for scorpions. That wavelength makes their body's glow. I live in the desert, it's kinda cool. Just don't get bit! :)

I don't live in the desert, I'm on the coast lol. I don't think we have anything like scorpions here :p

I could use it as a party light I guess :D

@ BobMc, what?! I don't think about you at all. Where did that come from? Never mind. Enjoy your scorpions.
