Sneak Peak! *Must See*

See, I didn't know that first sentence. I figured it but it said 11.9mm so I was skeptical.

I think that second highlighted sentence is wrong. It is true that green output is at most 25% of the IR diode output but that thing about surrent is wrong I believe. If your IR diode was 100mW (not mA) then you could expect 20-30mW.

I guess I'll just have to wiat until some other people revuew their orders.

So did you order the 200mW module from beamcheap? Do you have an LPM to test it? Thanks.

Well Actually is it not wrong, 100 mW diode would draw 100-110 mA.
They are about 45 % efficency, at 2V operating voltage the current draw in mA roughly equals (or surpasses just a little) the output power in mW.

@ "lemonwonder":

Can you already confirm that the 200mW green module is the "old-style" module that can take up to 4.2V or is it the newer DX-style module that's rated up to 3.7V? I'm guessing (and hoping) it's the former, but since it states on your site that the specs may be incorrect I'm not sure...

wow I just visited the site for the first time, and I must say...

WOW. :gj:

I'm really looking forward to shopping from BC !

Hey cmak, tried live online support?
Brendan (lemonwonder) himself is the operator, and a bloody good one!

Good job Brendan!

really? That's pretty bawlsy! wait are there other operators too, or is lemon the only one? Either way, that's pretty awesome! :gj:

There are other operators, I just prefer to answer all calls if I am around, then the other operators can read the chat archives and learn off them.

I can not confirm any specs as of yet.

I hope they are the old-style although the pictures of the green modules are now changed to the new, DX style modules :(

I guess Brendan can just tell us when he recieves EzPk0970's 200mW module from the factory.

EzPk0970 requested a refund, so he won't be getting the module.
But we have two other laser orders, so reviews from them should pop up soon.

They are the new style.

Yeah I just ordered the waterproof red laser (order #3) and very excited :D

you should consider making a separate section that sells Laser hosts (for DIY projects and such)... like the laser without the innards (well, I think you get what I mean :D)

that's just a suggestion though... what you have done already is already a very good demonstration of really "raising the bar". More small-ish websites should definitely follow this example *cough* rayfoss *cough* lol

This is so awesome! keep up the good work! Can't wait to make my first order!

I already know what my first order will be:
200mW green laser module.

Should be in a months time if everything goes OK.

I cannot wait...

Again, not trying to flame anybody or any companies but I would highly recommend against getting that module. They are very similr to the DX style modules, just without the threading. To my knowledge vitalyx was the only LPF member who bought an Olike new style/ DX 200mW module that performed anywhere near 200mW. And the other one he bought died within 10 seconds lol. But it's your money.
