@Kiyoukan: lol.. you're seriously insinuating that I don't troll? I've never said otherwise and you've been around long enough to know better.. but I've always been VERY choosy about who I troll. There is always a good reason, even if I don't always let on to what that reason is. My brain cell count isn't in question. I could fill a post with bitches, hos, sex drugs and rock and roll and it says nothing about my intelligence level.. all it says that I don't take the internet and the ridiculous crap that happens here seriously. I wasn't trying to get Dr. Lava's attention, or anything. I was contemplating why he takes so long to ship something considering he is a "business" with a website, located in the US.

I would be okay if he just posted a notice or something on the website saying shipping times are excessive. From what I read on the Google Wallet Order thing, it still says in there "takes 1-4 business days to ship"

He did not ship in 1-4 business days, nor did he respond to my cancellation order in a timely manner, as any business owner should do. And I'm not asking for an immediate on the dot watch either, I would just like communication with the person I'm throwing $27 at.

You gonna be OK? Don't bust a vein man.. it's the interwebz.. the only person who gives a shit how you feel is you. I've already explained what this thread is about, and the fact that I don't think that anyone is asking too much of the good Dr to get a disclaimer posted or just let his distributors do the selling.. but after a few of your recent posts I could tell that for you this has become about avenging butt-hurt from a neg rep I handed you, and no longer has anything to do with the issue at hand. From that moment it was a troll game..

It's been my experience that curiosity almost always wins ;). Just because one has "ignored" you does not mean that they can't easily see your posts.. and that curiosity.. it really is powerful stuff.

^ Agreed it's the interwebz, so just let comments roll off your back like a duck fellas. There is no smell_o_vision, and no punch_o_vision yet, but I'm sure we'll get it someday. :)

Back on topic, I'm a fan of the DrLava of the past, but not so much in his current too_busy_for_his_fellow_laserists reincarnation. It used to be "DrLava is a god", but the current DrLava is sadistically slow at supporting/shipping. Yes he's a smart designer. "And" yes he's a cruel shipper/communicator. :/ /brick

Edit: almost forgot yeah go with Jeff or DTR. Good shippers/communicators!

Any reputable/caring Seller will respond to a paying customer that
trusted him by sending him money for an order in a timely and
reasonable delay.

From the posts that I have read on this and other Forums in the last
year... drlava seems to have dropped the ball on this issue of Customer
Service.
I for one will make every effort to reply to a customer within 24 Hrs
and most times even faster to let the customer know he IS important
to us...

I agree an honest disclaimer on his website to state that shipping
times are an unknown factor when purchasing on his website would
be the right thing to do...
In addition he should supply Links to his Distributors if they want
their order shipped in a timely manner.

I really don't know why drlava is ignoring his customers... Maybe he
is too busy (then stop offering sales) or he doesn't care (which it looks
like more and more)...

If I was too busy to take care of my customers I would hire more
manpower or restructure my business and not take a chance on
ruining any reputation I had as a trustworthy seller with any good
Customer Support......

The best way to alienate an actual customer or potential customer
is to ignore him....
