Self-Lock

TJ is stereotyping people. He follows the guilty until proven innocent way of life.

TJ has fun with people in his own way just like some other people I know, You take everthing to serious. TJ makes me laugh, I could have got pissed when he got caught with his pants down and mentioned somrthing about my mom. I thought it was funny I LMAO. The other people I know would tell you that you just have a case of pissy pants!

I think the ability for the thread starter to lock their own thread would be a great addition to help prevent endless off-topic continuing rants. Not to mention after the poster feels like the question has been answered, he can lock.

If you start a post and don't like the direction it's going, don't look at. :D

Instead of helping the blind man you just let him struggle. Thats the difference between you guys and me. I would go help the blind man.

By reading you previous threads, you remind me of the old saying: "You can lead a donkey to water but you can't make him drink."

Its not a want, it a talent. I'm not rude to everyone, just those that fly into my a$$hole radar.

:crackup::crackup: Like Bloompyle!! LMFAO!!!

Everyone stereotypes people. How many times have you looked at a girl and made an immediate judgment just by what she wore? People on the internet are easier, because its easy to tell what kind of person they are by what they type. Bloompyle was an attention whore, so I gave him my full attention. :eg:

Most people don't realize that they are dong it. It happens in a fraction of a second and operates almost exclusively at the sub-conscious level. People will argue vehemently against the fact that they are biased while using their biases in the argument ;)

Peace,
dave

Those damn biases... :na:

Yeah, just take what you see on the Internet with a grain of salt. I believe I've seen it quoted that only 7% of what humans get in a real face-to-face conversation is the words. The rest is made up of tone, facial expressions, head and hand movements, and other stuff. Emoticons only make up for so much.

Exactly. We are all just strangers (mostly) and faceless text on a screen. When I log off my account, I log off of the drama too. It will always be here when I come back. Who cares if people dont like you, or argue with you? There are plenty of people who dont like me here. Do I care, or waste my time trying to change their mind? No. I learned 2 things a long time ago.

1. You cant make everyone like you, or happy.

2. When you're mad at a person it doesn't hurt them, it only hurts yourself, because you're the only one who feels the anger. The other person is oblivious of your constant anger.

My dad always told it is better to be quiet and let everyone think your an idiot, instead of opening your mouth and removing all doubt.

No doubt. I always play the quiet card till I find out what kind of people I'm surrounded by.

I thought everyone here were @ssholes when I first joined and started creeping the site.
Turns out that most of them are. Instead of being prejudiced toward a race or religion though, it is toward stupidity or laziness.
From what I can tell about the way most people here (veterans of the site, not the noobs) they are great guys that I could see hanging out, having a beer with and arguing over a wide range of topics.
Why do people expect a group to conform to them instead of the other way around?
You have to go along to get along.

I'd have a bunch of these guys, n00bs and vets, over for cookout every weekend. To bad we all lived so far apart. There are a bunch of guys from SoCal, and Washington state. Maybe get a meet going.

I'm not prejudice either, I hate everyone equally! :eg:
