Scammer alert

Hey Rob. Just read this, I feel for ya.

I won't say if you should pursue him or not (personally, I would), but a warning to everyone selling anything online:

NEVER mail anything until the payment has been received in full.

So I've been told, Tabish. It's my own fault for trying to be a nice guy...........

Wow I just read this whole thread it was so epic. It makes me happy to be me and not some douche scammer with a haircut that looks like justin bieber's. I hope he killed himself by now. Reading what had happened to you almost made me cry phoenix and it's very hard for me to cry.

Thanks for your sympathies my friend----------- rob

Nothing new with this yet? Damn... Haha it would be funny if we could get a group of LPF vets and go hunt him down with out LAZORZ :3 Mario's 60W IR could probably get him to give the laser back :eg::eg:

If we went hunting for him "WITH-OUT" (see quote) our LAZORZ, then WHAT GOOD WOULD THAT DO? ???---lol ---- j/k

HELLO DLMB, how are YOU !!! As for me---- SOSDD
(same old sh*t, different day) lol

What a nasty situation.
Guess there are scammers around, and not only as something that happens to other people. (well, if you want to be technical, rob is other people, but you get the idea.)

I have not tried it myself, having only bought twice from forums, and once walked out of a shop with $3000 worth of sword on a handshake and a promise from the guy that he would send me account information so I could pay him. (yes he did, and I did)

Having skimmed through, have anyone informed his parents?
They may have more decency than him.

A LOT of things have been tried so far, but I believe that there is NO DECENCY in that family at all.

@ toke, Thanks a lot pal !!! (you know what I mean)

The legal threat doesn't seem to make a difference to this kid or his family?
Has anyone been able to get in touch with his parents?

Seems to me calling the fathers work would be the first step I would take. Tell him of the seriousness of mail fraud.. that alone would get things rolling I would think.

I mean the father owns a boat, they have neighbors, they have a nice house, you know what company the father works for..
I used to be a salesman and I know how to find numbers and find people I want to talk to. If I was serious (as I hope rob is) then I would call all the neighbors, his work and his boss, his boat club, his family. Little Andrew may be doing this for the lulz, but the dad doesn't want anything to do with mail fraud or having people close to him know that his son is a scammer. The embarrassment alone should do the trick. If you know Andrew's friends on Facebook then whitebook them and ask to talk to their parents. There are so many "bad for Andrew" Public Relation routes to take here.

The legal route ending with Andrew droping the soap would be the most ideal IMO, but getting the money back and having people know about his scams seems to me a close second and an easier way to go.

@Rob any updates on the procedures you have been going through with?
