Chris,
The work is very time consuming not to mention the money spent on all the tooling. Buying a lathe then sr=etting up the shop in a way where the machines are articulated in areas. I need more room but for the moment its all good for space .

Your prices are more than reasonable, I know how it goes though, in this group, most members won't pay for what custom hosts are worth for your time and materials. EHgemus ended up moving out of custom host work into making high end tops, he said he got tired of working his arse off (not his exact words, I think he said ass) for very little to show for it. I haven't been in the forum all that long, but since I've been here I've seen two great host makers eventually stop making them for the same reason. No member who makes hosts does it forever, if you guys are thinking of a nice host, you better buy them while you can. These are the only custom copper and brass hosts I've seen here, there maybe have been a few made, but not many.

I try to keep the cost down but between time and material its tough. If a member buys my hosts it will last them to eternity you can tell buy the weight and configurations and the components i put in to them. Thank You for realizing this Chris how true.

Ask a machine shop to do this and you will run away with your wallet tightly in your hand, these are a bargain.

Hi Chris,
I appreciate the extra buddy, some can't see the time and work that goes into machining. Aluminum side button copper core/2x18650 next have some nice 3&5A latching switches .
Oh in that host what would you prefer?, 26 or 24 AWG silicon wire. Nubm44 diode,SXD 4.5A /G2.battey extension tube:anyone::anyone:

Hi 3D,
Thank you for looking , Full copper pens are small and compact for the lower power diodes. An A140 or a PLTB450B would be nice in these with a moderate duty cycle.
