That's actually pretty interesting.
Some states are actually a suprise to me. Texas in particular suprised me on that map.
I won't try to change anyone's opinion on gun laws, at least not in this thread. My only comment is that guns are not the problem, at least not all of it. Take away the guns, stabbing rates will go up, take away the knives, and death by Louisville slugger will go up.
Violence is a part of our culture. Even from the very early days when we were fighting the British for our independence and warring with the native Americans for their land.
I know this seems nuts to anyone looking in for the outside. Just as nuts as most countries lack of guns, fireworks, porn, and lasers seem to us.
