Last days of cristmas holidas i remember all the stuff i order the nights online. :
Time ago i buy a Lens 27 from Roithner laser in austria.

Plus shipping, taxes and so on, its expesive to order one!

Online shopping is just via email possible. :-?
LENS-27, M 9 x 0.5, f = 3.6 mm, 1-glass lens collimator, ARC, N.A. = 0.45
Absolute not to compare with the sled small fl lenses.
The beam is clean and no scatter and rings in the beamspot.
Now i found some time to test, and its really good.
I test it with my Bluyray host toghether with Flexdrive powerd by 3x aaa nicd full at 1,35 volt.
Power test i have done 3 times back to back in turn.
The powers written are the approximately average of the measurements.
Both beams are focused to infinity. Also good pic to compare the beam diameter.
I try to change nothing while i change the lenses to get identical pictures.
To get god pictures from bluray i have to try hardly its difficult with Canon Digital Camera to get these special waveleght... :question In the end it looks to bluish. But the beam diameter is good visible.
This looks like it looks in rl. I save a guess about the beam diameter in mm, just check the picture.
The beamshots are taken with smoke and two tripods.
One for the laser and one for the Camera.
Laser are in same pol alignment to compare the beam thickness.
It fit good with aixis module it wobbles like standart lensnut, screw-in depth fits also. I think its a steel lensnut.
I think its close to the otimum we can estimate from a affordable lens.
If i find some time i test for the red.
