Review of Thor H Dual Power

Don't worry Paul. The reading is accurate enough to get an idea of the power output. Hope you are ok.

Where can i find the statement? i must've missed it as i cant find it in official thread and official website anywhere.

And BTW, get well soon!

Still alive. That's the important thing. :) I have a home health care worker coming by three times a week to do dressing changes. Getting old sucks! Don't let anyone ever tell you differently.

Edit: astralist, this was the error quoted at the time I purchased it. They are no longer available, which is why you can't find that error statement as it is useless. At least the website is still up and running. Never know when you might have to down load the data logging program.

I never want that to happen to me. But I'm guessing certain things become inevitable. Yes. At least you are still living to see the beauty of lasers. Stay well my friend. :)

That's cold, didn't even change the names. You know what they say Podo, "mimicking is the greatest form of flattery" :tsk:

Meh. I build most of my lasers, so I don't have a collection of Chinese pointers. I had to look since two people have made a big deal out of this here in my review thread. Near as I can tell, Sanwu is very proud of a mass produced laser because their prices are much more than I'd ever be willing to pay for their products. This laser is a very solid build and is priced far cheaper than the apparent alternative. If I were shopping for a Chinese laser pointer, and since there is probably little difference, I'd shop price. Just my two cents.

They could at least have a little common decency and choose their own names, and not feed off someones else's success.

The stuff from Sanwu is a touch pricey, but the quality is fantastic. I've only got a couple pocket series lasers from them, but I was thoroughly impressed by the quality, not to mention their customer support. If you don't mind parting with the extra money they are a good choice.

That said, I can in no way complain about the quality of the handheld from Laser Pointer Store either, so far they seem like a good option for good quality on a lower budget than Sanwu.

Although, it's a little sketchy that they'd advertise Sanwu Products if they didn't first consult Sanwu.

Paul; I don't mean to denigrate your thread. I hope, and it sounds like, laserpointer.com quality is fine and their prices are good. So thanks for your review, well done. :)

I was actually wondering what is this all about..

Why to bother to sell "same" products when you can purchase this kind of "marginal products" straight from manufacuter?!

That does not make any sense to me.. :tinfoil:

EDIT
Sorry Paul for going a bit off topic :o
