It wouldn't hurt to ask. They would probably make you send your unit back, then send you a new one.

Most likely, I sent them a e-mail about 5 mins ago asking if they suggest anything. We shall wait and see.

I highly doubt they will complain at all, actually. LG has a good rep for a reason :beer: if it's within two weeks of delivery I think they will accept full refund or exchange without much of a word at all

I mean...do you see it as a big deal? It does bother me slightly but I don't know if it's too big of a problem for them.

I really hope so aswell! I ordered their 532nm Anser a couple days ago. I really hope this unit dosen't have the same issue

The red underneath is normal. The black covering word off mine too giving a orange highlight to it. The chrome engravings fill with black and silver. Like the old iPods.

Yeah it's a normal property since it's so fine. The anser and libra both do this since it's a deeper engraving and the blacking is applied afterward I'm sure, leaving only a thin film behind possibly on purpose.
