Posting Youtube Videos tutorial

There have been alot of people having a hard time lately understanding how to post a youtube video so it displays in the forums as an actual video and not just a link. I have typed it up a few times now so I figured I would just make a post for people to be referred to when having a hard time instead of wasting a long drawn out post.


First we take a link to your video as seen below:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9q2jNjOPdk

Now what you want to do is find the video id which is highlighted in yellow below:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9q2jNjOPdk

now you will take that video id and place it between the html tags as seen below:

[yt]B9q2jNjOPdk[/yt]

Which will result in the below being displayed:
