My 100W LPM - Typically ran in 10W mode for readings down to thousandths..

Output on the lower end for my NUBM05Ts. I've done a watt more with a 2x18650 host but I like my 2x16340 / 2x18350 hosts better.. especially the Mech Mods.

Been away for a while, thought I'd post this.
Trying out my new DSLR and Lens combo on the moon last night.
I know it's upside-down for most of you, LOL.

Progress on my 4th numitron clock two displays wired up another 4 to go along with two extra segments in each , each clock I've done uses different displays .

I've added a switch that will + or - one hour from the programmed time for daylight savings .

Steampunk monstrosity or fun burner? ...... YES :eg:

This was a crude proof of concept build just to see if I could leave the G2 adjustable and actually have now after burning the first lens, so it's just cobbled together with scrap to block lens glare and leave the top removable with 1 screw.

Now it's a test bed for the 3X expander from Podo, and the beam from my 6x corrected 44 fits in the expander's input as seen while running from inside and it shrinks the spot when zoomed to desired distance, the 3x is a win. Sorry I have no LPM reading but it lights the wood in my basement from 15 feet after I aligned it so it is an improvement.

So I confess I'm having a bit of trouble with the scale there.

Are we talking muffler sized, baseball bat sized, or smaller? Could use a banana for scale or something.

I can tell it's pretty damn big, but just not quite how damn big it is. A BIC lighter, pop can or banana for scale would work. :D

Nice work either way RC!

Same here, too many people do this, please take a photo next to a beer can or a dollar bill or some other item, but not a banana, they vary in size too much.

The wide part is 2.5 inches wide. I burn for 5 minutes and they don't get too hot, they all have the NUBM44's and a 6x pair's, adding Podo's 3X is a win. :D

I may do some compact's later but I like to use them and get wrapped up in it.

LOL, yea and the mx-900 looks like the rusty exhaust pipe........Just don't tailgate the scooter it's on or your grill will be on fire.

Granted it's ugly, but that makes it fun to hammer and put through the ringer, if I blow the diode I just save the battery tube, driver and this lovely little expander.....and the Sawnu G2, it is doing the job.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. "just had to say it!!" If it works don't touch it!
It kinda reminded me of the early atomic bomb from WWII;)

I burned a hole in a sheet of corrugated cardboard at 75 feet with it the other day, that's not been possible with even the 405, so now that I have a working recipe it's onward and upward from here. ;)
