Recently been poking around with photoshop and stuff, and I learned how to make spacey planet pictures.

Took this photo about 20 years ago of a Motorola Quarter Kilowatt VHF RF Power Amplifier I modified, took out the small conduction cool tubes and replaced with two 3CX1500A7 tubes, that baby would put out so much power I was hearing echo's off the moon using it, really:

KL7FB 144 MHz 5 KW Power Amplifier

Tell me that was echoes from the moon with a Yagi and not a dipole or vertical. That's insane!

A live oak I planted in my yard not long after moving in. For a slow grower, it still grows quite a bit each year.

Taking apart an old HPS ballast today. Is there anything dangerous in here I should watch out for? Trying to avoid shocks

Yes, that big metal capacitor. It's probably
safe, but short it with a screwdriver to make
sure.

Melles Griot head lasing a little bit. Unfortunately the Vanadate on both units is cracked, I'll need to find a replacement. Both KTPs + Pumps are still good though, perhaps not quite up to factory spec, but still useful. Will probably use them as parts or find a way to stick a larger piece of coated Vanadate in there.

Those are good but holy crap it took me like 8 reloads for it to display twhe picture on my phone
