Ok a few (CPF, EDC, AR15) of the many forums I frequent.....have a thread like this, but I searched on LPF and couldn't find a similar thread. :thinking: What do you guys use to protect your lasers &/or flashlights in? I know most of you (like myself) have to be flashaholics also! So you must have a pelican case or two??? Post them up! I would love to see some photos of everyone's gear!

Here is a 1495 I have. It is "almost" full in this picture. Since I took the picture I have filled it. And now I'm working on filling second 1495. See if I can post some updated pics of it soon. I found a place in Long Beach that sells Pelican cases CHEAP! In the next month or two I think I'm going to get some cases for some of my other "toys".

Gotta love the Dorcy lasers. You can recognize jayrobs work right there! I love that little baby.
 
Third light down, left hand side. I love my Surefire 6P, what do you think of yours? It looks to have some good use, based on the wear.

That 6P was what started it all for me back 10 years ago! Was my first SF back in 99. Has been a great light over the years. As most of my SF lights they get used, and used heavily! That 6P was a daily carry in my spare magazine/SF holster for 3 years straight. Awesome light. I then got the 9P, then the E2d....another great light. But now with LED. I picked up the e2dL and felling the lover for these lights all over again! So now I'm wanting to buy the 6PLED version..or at the very min get the drop in. They are Great lights!!!!

I thought for sure there would have been more flashaholics with pelicans on here. hmmmm. So what do you guys keep your lasers in?

^ In a tire, in some boxes, on shelfs, and on my work desk (the ones not yet finished :p) ..... and in the pocket of my chemise (always a 50mW green there ..... old, used, abused, and still working pen :D)

I know, it's not "professional", but usually i don't carry them around, so never felt the need of a travel case :D ..... and for the one that i always have with me, now is so ruined, that a protective case is unhelpful :p
 
I use an MTM CASE GUARD I got from JACK at OPTOTRONICS. Seems to be a standard pistol travelling case, but it does the job just fine. The only lasers NOT in there, are my NOVALASERS ALPHA-125, & MY RIGEL & AQUARIUS from LASERGLOW..............rob
 
Yeah, I have a bit over 40 portable lasers atm, more are green & violet, then 1/2 doz reds. I only have 2 blues (473 nm), and 2 yellows. Also I have 3 HeNe's and one 20 W CO2. -Glenn
 
Wow. Didn't know anyone can be so overprotective about their lasers/flashlights hahaha

Then again, lasers lying around like in my case are probably a hazard lol
