Police Laser Event Recorder

It seems like the police in the UK are testing a new Laser Event Recorder to
track down the source of a laser beam directed at them while flying their patrol
helicopters... Here is a news article....

Thanks for the link to this particular bit of kit. There is a thread going on in the, "General", section talking directly about this. (I'll post a link as I'm pretty sure it is relevant!).

Not too worried myself, (being a Brit), as firstly I do hold myself responsible for my hobby, and secondly, I'm slowly getting to know some CSI guys stationed at the same airfield as the chopper-coppers! They're even asking me asking how my projects are going! ((first time I've used that smilie. :), and that one !)
