Just showing my new build in a sweet polished stainless steel SolarForce host and a 1 Watt NDG7475 module from DTR...

Message me for a kit!

The front aperture is my 'Bezel Focus' design in that you just turn the entire bezel of the host for focusing.

I put a little protrusion on the front of the aperture simply for the dust cap. (I like to use a dust cap - especially with a pocket size)

* 2.4 Amps SXD buck driver
* 2 X 18350 supply
* About 1.4 Amps battery current draw
* 1.1 Watts with the 2 element glass lens

DTR Module:

With a G-lens it would be more like 1.4 Watts, but love the tight beam and dot using the 2 element glass, coated lens from DTR.

Not the greatest beam shot... Reflections off the walls turned the whole room green...

Very nice work as always.

What is the duty cycle on that one?

Why does the host say 2.4mA

Shouldn't it say 2.4 amps. Not milliamperes.

Honestly I really don't know. I'm new to a diode like this but it is an awesome diode...

I would guess at least 5 minutes but I've always been very conservative with duty. (used to using a 1 or 2 minute duty - or less)

Run time between charges is probably about 1/2 hr. Naturally you have to be a 'battery conscience' person...

Very, very nice Jay!
I've always liked those S.F. stainless steel hosts. It looks much nicer without that black rubber grip that it comes with.
:gj: + rep!

Cool build!

I guess i would have liked a bit more heatsinking surface area as the host is probably big enough to allow continous operation (perhaps tuned down a bit) but that would make it look less sleek.

Love these 520 nm photons. :D
Very nice green indeed!

EDIT: can't give rep at the moment.
