SOMETHING SUDDENLY WENT WAY WRONG WITH MOST OF THE PICS TODAY AS THEY WERE ALL IN 800X600 WHEN MOST SWITCHED OVER TO 4K RESOLUTION. I AVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO. I USE IMAGESHACK.COM SO IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS LET ME KNOW. IN THE MEANTIME PLEASE USE RESPONSIVE MODE FOR THE FORMAT. IT CAN BE FOUND AT THE BOTTOM LEFT UNDER DARKSHADOW V5. IT'S EASY TO CHANGE IF YOU GO TO THE LAST PAGE OR ANOTHER THREAD FIRST AND THEN COME BACK SO YOU ARE NOT WAITING FOREVER FOR THE GIANT PICS TO LOAD!!! I'M SO SORRY, HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED OR WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT:(

I'll have to take new photos showing what I have now but here's a teaser since I just happened to be looking through which few I am taking on vacation tomorrow. Hang on for a bit and I'll try and get a shot up.
There's about another 20-30 not shown that are pens. Most have dividers between them or are wrapped. There is a foam piece that goes in between the top and bottoms and just about all of the smaller cases have more than one layer of lasers:

Ok, this stuff is in a large case but I removed it to use the case for the units I brought on vacation which are still in that case. In fact we are going back up again for another week in a few weeks so I'm leaving them in it.

Basically there are 3 532nm modules of various powers and then these 3 that are 1.37W A140, 2.2W M462 and .8W 638nm that all can go on pretty much all the 510 mod stuff.

Dear Lord that's a lot of lasers. I thought I had a bunch, but this blows away anything I've seen.

I'll get better pics when I get back from vacation showing the ones under wraps and all the layers if a case has multiples. You can't really see anything too well with these pics so I'll do a case by case with them out of the cases and maybe try and explain them a bit. I will say that I've probably built 75% or more myself but don't hold me to that. Currently I don't have anything to build as far as diodes go. I probably have 15 or so hosts though standing by. I'll also take shots of my building stuff such as pieces/parts as I save most everything when I take apart a flashlight and of course there's stuff from lenses to springs to drivers to on and on and on that I have accumulated. It's always a good idea to save stuff as you never know what pieces/parts you might need for another build. Sometimes you get lucky and can combine hosts with the same threads and make something new like my Pman special (see my sig link).
I know someone is going to ask so there is at least 350 lasers in the pics not including a lot of pens I have around the house in a few areas.
Picked out about 10 lasers I'm taking with me on vacation. Pretty much one of each wavelength I have. Hopefully I'll eventually get a 593.4. I really want to be able to see the beam though without any fog so I don't know how that's going to work out especially because I want it as a portable. I swear my 589nm looks like a 593.4nm sometimes.
Still haven't built a 7W+ yet although I have a 6W 465nm that should be at least 470nm. It looks WAY lighter than any of my 462/4nm units and I think I have at least 5 of those. In fact i just built 2 of them using the 1.4W 9mm diode and i think they look just a bit higher in wavelength than the 5.6mm ones. I kind of thought we were going to see a 10W 08 but it looks like that isn't going to happen. Might order a 44 as I have a bunch of larger hosts with sinks ready to be built.

Hi. Pman. This is about what I thought you had. I've been watching your posts of builds for a few years and knew you had many more lasers that batteries for everyone of them. Nice collection. :)

I saw an empty pocket in that top right case, you will have to build something to fill that. :)

Wow---monster collection--nicely packed and protected--serious number of and investment in, handheld lasers!

Do you ever even have any thoughts of selling off excess/duplicates and just keeping the jewels of the collection or just 1 or 2 examples of each?

Nice images!

I'm leaving on vacation at about 1 this afternoon and won't have any time to get into them. Those were just some quickie pics since I had them out. I'll do a case by case when I get back.
Someone asked about selling some of the doubles and although I keep telling myself I need to sell a whole lot of them I haven't been able to bring myself to do it. Reality is in one way or another almost everything is unique in some way other than the way overspec Ebay pens I made focusable. When I look them over I see so many unique builds that make it too hard to decide. There is a lot of under 100mW 532nm builds too that I don't even know if people would want even though they have nice beams. It actually is a bit depressing to look at them since they just sit in the cases. In fact, everything you see here just sits in their cases. I don't take them out to mess with them unless I need to compare something or in this week's case I'm actually going somewhere I can shine them around. Sad really.
